Flying Carpets is a partnership between two Americans living in Europe and friends they made on their visit through Turkey. We offer people in the European Union, America, and across the world, the beauty of a hand-made Turkish Rug for a fraction of the retail cost, as well as first-hand tourist information.

Turkish rugs and carpets were the first oriental rugs to be imported into Europe and America. Most were woven in villages in Anatolia in bright, rich colors with geometric forms such as the star and diamond as well as linear floral forms.

These Turkish Woven Handicrafts are still woven in Turkey by local workers, with colors and patterns similar to those woven for thousands of years.

While these collectibles are not authentic Persian artifacts worth thousands of dollars, they represent the spirit of the Turkish people; and that is honorable, friendly, and helpful... nearly to a fault!

	RUG BACK This rug shows the back of one of the carpets. This is representative of all carpets pictured above. These ARE NOT authentic full-sized Turkish rugs, and are not knotted in the way that the authentic rugs are. These are representative of the culture and are intended as a keepsake only.
